&lt;https://www.loc.gov/standards/marcxml/&gt; into a canonical tidy
long representation while preserving leaders, control fields,
data fields, indicators, repeated fields, repeated subfields,
and source order. Provides in-memory reading, bounded-memory
conversion to 'Parquet', and reconstruction of MARCXML from
canonical data. Supports structural diagnostics for in-memory
and 'Arrow'-backed representations, optional recovery from
malformed MARC records, and local parallel processing.</description><link>https://github.com/r-universe/larry77/actions/runs/38618931027</link><pubDate>Wed, 14 Oct 2026 15:46:46 GMT</pubDate><r:package>marcxmlr</r:package><r:version>0.4.0</r:version><r:status>success</r:status><r:repository>https://larry77.r-universe.dev</r:repository><r:upstream>https://github.com/larry77/marcxmlr</r:upstream><r:article><r:source>marcxmlr-workflow.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>marcxmlr-workflow.html</r:filename><r:title>Statistical profiling of bibliographic metadata with marcxmlr</r:title><r:created>2026-10-06 08:18:54</r:created><r:modified>2026-10-13 15:01:07</r:modified></r:article></item><item><title>[larry77] summarisebig 0.1.0</title><author>lorenzo.isella@gmail.com (Lorenzo Isella)</author><description>Provides a 'dplyr'-like interface for grouped summaries on
large 'arrow' datasets. Complete summaries are attempted in
'arrow' first. When a result can be reconstructed from
'arrow'-computable sufficient statistics, an explicit
MapReduce-style reduction and 'R' finalization strategy is
available. For arbitrary 'R' functions that require raw group
observations, complete groups are materialized in bounded
chunks, with optional parallel execution and shared-memory
processing. The MapReduce strategy follows the programming
model described by Dean and Ghemawat (2008)

analysis-friendly rectangular outputs without requiring a
vocabulary-specific parser. Supports conservative structure
proposals, explicit reusable profiles, advisory XSD inspection,
bounded streaming, CSV and Parquet output, an analyst-oriented
single-table projection, and record-level parallel execution
with automatic scheduling. The native implementation uses
libxml2 for structural acceleration while the R implementation
remains the semantic reference.</description><link>https://github.com/r-universe/larry77/actions/runs/36595983534</link><pubDate>Tue, 08 Sep 2026 09:08:34 GMT</pubDate><r:package>xmlrectr</r:package><r:version>0.0.0.9000</r:version><r:status>success</r:status><r:repository>https://larry77.r-universe.dev</r:repository><r:upstream>https://github.com/larry77/xmlrectr</r:upstream><r:article><r:source>development.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>development.html</r:filename><r:title>Architecture and validation</r:title><r:created>2026-09-08 06:41:50</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-08 06:41:50</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>getting-started.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>getting-started.html</r:filename><r:title>Getting started with unknown XML</r:title><r:created>2026-09-08 06:41:50</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-08 06:41:50</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>large-xml.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>large-xml.html</r:filename><r:title>Large XML, streaming and parallel execution</r:title><r:created>2026-09-08 06:41:50</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-08 06:41:50</r:modified></r:article></item></channel></rss>
